Top Shelf Hair Company
508 Broadway St, New Haven, IN 46774

The page ranking for your shop's name says, in its own words, that it has nothing to do with you.

A booking site carries a page for this shop. It has the name on it, the address, the phone number, a list of services and a full week of opening times. It also carries a line, in plain English near the bottom, saying that this page uses publicly available information and that the business is not currently affiliated with or partnered with that site. That page was opened and read on 2026-09-01. So the most complete description of Top Shelf Hair Company anywhere on the internet was assembled by a company the shop has never dealt with, publishes a working week nobody here confirmed, and offers no way to actually book, only a note telling people to ring. Meanwhile a large directory still has this address filed under the shop that occupied the building before this one, with that shop's old phone number attached. Two different pages, both wrong in different directions, both outranking anything the shop itself has, because the shop itself has nothing. This page is a free demonstration built on 2026-09-01 and nobody here asked for it or paid for it. Call (260) 797-6860 if you would rather hear this from a person.

Read off a booking page and a 2020 newspaper interview, both opened on 2026-09-01

The work below is in Kristie Worman's own words, from the only interview she has ever given about this shop.

Nearly everything published about Top Shelf Hair Company was written by somebody else. There is one exception, and it is a good one. A Fort Wayne business paper interviewed Kristie Worman when the shop opened, and that article was opened and read again on 2026-09-01. In it she describes the work in her own words, and those words are the only first hand account of this business that exists anywhere. They are used below and nothing has been added to them. The separate service list on the booking page is a different matter, because that page states outright that the shop is not affiliated with it, so it is referred to below rather than repeated as though it were a menu somebody here chose. Anything this page cannot answer goes to (260) 797-6860.

Men's and boys' cuts

Men's and boys' cuts

Her own stated focus, in the article, and it is the right thing to lead a page with because it is the search that would bring the most people through the door. It currently appears nowhere in a heading, on any page, next to this shop's name. It sits in the sixth paragraph of a newspaper article from years ago, which is not where anybody looking for a haircut in New Haven is going to find it.

Women welcome, cuts and coloring

Women welcome, cuts and coloring

Also her own words, and worth its own line rather than a footnote, because a shop that reads as men only online quietly turns away half the town without ever knowing. The article is explicit that women are welcome and that cutting and coloring are both done here. Nothing published anywhere since says so, so as far as the internet is concerned it is not true.

The list on the page you do not control

The list on the page you do not control

The booking site publishes four services under this shop's name. They may well be accurate. They were not put there by anybody here, they sit on a page that says so, and they cannot be corrected from here, which is why this demonstration will not print them as a menu. A list of your own, in your own order, with the things you actually want people asking for at the top, replaces all of it.

Walk in, or booked

Walk in, or booked

Both exist here, which is genuinely useful and genuinely rare, and it is the single most confusing thing about this shop online. One source describes a pattern of walk in windows followed by appointment only windows, day by day. The other publishes a flat working week with no distinction at all. They cannot both be right. Sorting that out on one page would save a phone call every single day.

A chair, and who is in it

A chair, and who is in it

This is a shop where the owner is the business, and that is the strongest thing it has going. It is also completely invisible. There is no photograph of Kristie, no photograph of the room, and no way for somebody new in town to see who they would be sitting with before they commit to it. For a one chair shop, that picture is worth more than every other section on this page.

Booking, which is currently a phone call and nothing else

Booking, which is currently a phone call and nothing else

The booking page that ranks for this name offers no booking. It says call to book. So the only route in is the telephone, during a week that two sources describe two different ways. Every person who was going to tap a button instead of ringing is lost at that point, and there is no way to know how many that is.

How it works

What happens today when somebody in New Haven searches this shop by name.

1

They land on a page that disclaims the shop

The booking site's page comes up first. It looks official enough that most people will not read to the bottom, where it says the business is not affiliated with or partnered with that site. So the first impression of this shop is being made by a company that has publicly stated it has no relationship with it.

2

They read a working week nobody here confirmed

That page publishes a full seven day schedule. The only other account of the hours, the one from Kristie herself in the newspaper, describes something completely different, a pattern of walk in and appointment windows that changes by day. A customer following the wrong one turns up at the wrong time.

3

They try the address and meet the previous shop

A large directory still lists 508 Broadway under the business that was in the building before this one, with that business's old telephone number. Somebody searching the address rather than the name gets sent to a shop that is not here any more, and rings a number that is not this one.

4

They give up on booking and maybe on the shop

There is no online booking anywhere, only an instruction to ring, on a page the shop does not control, next to hours it did not publish. The people who would happily have tapped a button at nine in the evening simply do not become customers, and there is no way to count them.

About us

A one chair shop on Broadway Street, and everything findable about it written by strangers.

This page was not made by Top Shelf Hair Company. It is a free demonstration, built on 2026-09-01 from the pages that could be opened and read that day, to show what a page of your own could look like. It is set to noindex, so it will never appear in a search for the shop and cannot compete with anything of yours. Every word, color and photograph is changeable. Two facts are worth keeping from it. Kristie Worman has been cutting hair from 2007 onward and opened this shop at 508 Broadway in 2020, both from a newspaper interview she gave herself. And apart from that one article, every sentence a customer can currently find about this shop was written by a company that has never spoken to it. Call (260) 797-6860.

Seven rows saying the same thing, on purpose. Two accounts of this shop's week exist and they disagree. The booking page publishes a flat working week, and that page states on itself that the business is not affiliated with it, so nobody here chose those times. Kristie's own account, given to a newspaper when the shop opened, describes something quite different, walk in windows followed by appointment only windows, varying by day. Those are not two versions of the same schedule, they are two different shapes, so there is no safe one to pick and printing either would be a guess dressed up as a fact. It is also the most expensive thing on this page to get wrong, because a person who turns up to a locked door usually does not come back. Seven real rows, in your own words, would end this permanently. Call (260) 797-6860.

508 Broadway St, New Haven, IN 46774

This address appears on both sources that opened on 2026-09-01 and they agree on it exactly. The trouble is what else is attached to it. A large directory still has this building filed under the business that was here before, complete with that business's old telephone number, which means an address search can hand somebody the wrong shop and the wrong number in one go. That is not something the shop did and it is not something the shop can fix from the outside, but a live page under the correct name, with the correct address and number on it, is what eventually teaches the search engines which one is current. Call (260) 797-6860.

Get in touch

The page that ranks for this shop tells people to call, and offers nothing else.

There is no online booking for this shop anywhere. The booking site's page, the one that comes up first, carries a call to book instruction and stops there. So every appointment has to survive a phone call, made during a week that two sources describe two different ways, to a shop where the owner is usually mid cut and cannot pick up. A simple form, or a real booking button, takes the request at nine in the evening when people actually think about their hair, and it arrives with a name, a phone number and roughly what they want. Ring (260) 797-6860 for anything urgent in the meantime.

This is a demonstration form on a demonstration page. Nothing typed into it is sent anywhere.
